Since Menduiña’s establishment in 2008, in Cangas do Morrazo, we have committed ourselves to the “craft” concept, that is, producing a traditional beer with a character of its own: a “Made in Galicia” kind of product.
Located in a rural area of the Galician Rías Baixas, between Vigo and Pontevedra, with its own facilities built on a wooded estate of 2,000 square meters, we brew each of the Menduiña.
Water is one of the most important ingredients in beer production, in fact, it is the main ingredient and the Atlantic climate is ideal in the crafting process of this product. We are located in a very rainy coastal area, with plenty of rivers and water springs, and so we decided to take advantage of our surroundings and make a product with at least 80% water content.
Together with its particular characteristics, if we also take into account Galicia’s temperatures, we find ourselves at the perfect location to produce beers that are Galician to the core and of acclaimed quality.
We produce what we like to drink: traditional ales and lagers embodied by craftsmanship and creativity. Some of our limited edition special recipes incorporate ingredients that are typical in our culture, such as laurel, elderflower/berries, smoke and oak wood, which add value to our products.
Our mission is to offer our clients a 100% natural and original beer from innovative recipes and a little bit daring. We use carefully selected ingredients, GMO free and our production is lead by the excellence in our processes.
We hold on to three key values when manufacturing our products:
